Senior UNIX Support Engineer - RedHat - �40k -�50k + Bonus + Benefits - Swindon
Senior UNIX Support Engineer required by a leading provider of infrastructure solutions.
In this challenging and varied 3rd Line support role you will join an expanding team focussed on supporting and maintaining UNIX infrastructure solutions, particularly solutions from Redhat. Working under an ITIL and ISO20000 framework in a secure datacentre environment you will identify and resolve faults, create processes and produce up-to-date documentation as well as apply your strong technical skills and knowledge to various improvement projects which take place.
To be considered for this exciting Senior UNIX Support Engineer role you will have strong technical experience gained in a similar 3rd line or 4th line support position where you have supported UNIX infrastructure in an ITIL environment. You must have strong knowledge of Redhat Enterprise Linux and will ideally have worked in a hosting environment. You will have experience of supporting networks, LANs, load balancing and exposure to a range of security technologies such as Cisco PiX and Checkpoint. In order to perform in this role you will be a self-motivated team player with excellent problem solving skills. You will operate well under pressure and must possess the communication skills necessary to deliver excellent customer service to clients.
Based in Swindon a salary of �40-�50k plus bonus and benefits is on offer to the successful candidate as well as the chance for you to develop your career with a rapidly expanding company.
